So for all you South African people, how do you guys feel about this place?
I was watching Dark Tourist last night where he explored the slums of Johannesburg - Alexandra. Im not lying Id have loved to explore it. They have a very native but popping nightlife if you manage to go with locals- it can be cool. Never safe enough for a lone tourist or tourist groups to venture in though.
However, I also learned of Orania. Where people go to preserve culture aka where no black person lives or is allowed. The narrator tried to ask about this but everyone was very closed mouthed about it, being all politically correct on camera and stuff. This group decided after the whole Aparthied act fell in 1991, and it got all diverse and equal for all, they wanted to remain purebred and unadulterated and free of anything melanin.
So, SA hows that working out? * +

Wicked, Dark Tourist in Netflix, watch it. He goes to diff countries exploring the eccentricities of it and find good stories and history that would be appealing to a tourist that not only wants to see the catalog sh*t, but real life sh*t. * +

It's not for preserving the 'white bloodline' it's for preserving Afrikaner culture therefore whoever speaks Afrikaans as a mother tongue is welcome there.
I do not so therefore I'm not entitled to live there.
There's also this suburb in East Pretoria. There's a couple of Afrikaans-speaking black people living there.
Orania was acknowledged by some ANC officials in the 90s and was given the go-ahead. Some years ANC members go there to learn how to incorporate the sustainable technologies into rural povert-stricken areas.
Orania is run as a business venture consisting of numerous private enterprises. * +

are you sure of that? because having Afrikaans as a first and home language doesn't make one an Afrikaner. ...tmk only whites live there... black ppl may come in to work but have to leave at the end of their working day * +
