I only really 'like' a post on Facebook to put my name on it, acknowledge it, or share it. This happens very rarely, and is only ever to do with people i know. So when i get notifications telling me that one of my own contributions has been 'liked' i take it they're doing the same for whatever their own reasons, i don't tend to put any thought into it.

Here, i don't see the point. At all. I've only pressed the heart accidentally as i scroll on the touchscreen. I don't notice if i have any on my own posts. * +

The system that operate the generators and pumps are run by network computers, its not your average internet but a form of interconnected computers all over the country. There was a case few years back where a place of french colonial got no water and electric because their internet underwater cable was broken and they use backup power and generator for a few days. * +

I don't use Twitter, Instagram and all those ... I have FB but haven't logged on in months. Same with messenger so doesn't bug me. Here I just find it amusing if anything. It doesn't count here. * +

If i was a teenager i guess i would care. Thank god im not, so i dont find likes important for sharing my opinion. I ve noticed these little hearts on this forum just recently :D And i use it sometimes * +
