Now i know you're all unemployed and can't hold a job, but that should help the topic.
Something just reminded me of a work disaster and it's unlikely to have been vastly covered already.

I have a few, so i'll start.

One time i was stood at the entrance, sharing a spliff with my boss. She told me there was an interviewee coming, so she couldn't get too stoned. Then we watch a guy walking toward us, across the car park, and he fell straight down a hole. I don't know if someone had stolen the manhole cover, but i'm sure i would've seen it. This guy didn't, he just stepped right into another dimension. His knees were underground, but his face was very much on the car park. We were done. My boss was on the floor in fits, no state to interview this guy whatsoever.

I've had my fair share. Filled several lorries full of goods and sent them up the motorway, only for the customer to ask if i'm colourblind...

So what about you. Ever had a day your boss wished you'd just pulled a sickie? * +

Kicked a crate of glasses. Smashed every single one.

Being made to hold a rack of clothes that was too heavy for me, dropped it and ripped my top right down the front.

The worst is when I'm stoned and sewing lol.

i wasn't stacker truck trained , it was a sunday double time job assigned to just 2 of us painting a freshly fabricated big machine assembly, other younger guy who could drive stacker legally didn't turn up

, i knew it was important job so stupidly decided id continue on my own and just move the stacker (we were using as a platform for some parts) into position then just climb the mast and continue the job ,this worked great until about 3pm when moving the stacker with it's mast down it wouldn't stop just kept going forward full fkn on the brake wouldn't work i couldn't reach for the key as was too busy just avoid the new machinery , thankfully it just stopped and went back AOK , i later found that just raise your ars* off the seat would have instantly restored my elevated heart rate back down to survivable.

Being under the influence isn't good, i once came up on an acid at work, i was a caterer in a restaurant and all the customers had coloured patterns on their faces, the food was made of plastic, it was well funny. * +

you reminded me of a old college who once breifly turned up for work thinking he was an aeroplane, with arms stretched out and making a buzzing engine sound ,went straight in the front past the clock machine straight out the back fire exit , untill next day

apparently the previous day was final of his divorce and he'd been very happy and celebrated a little too much

I fell through a broken grate into a slurry pit once. Luckily i'm tall so the pig shit/piss mixture only came up to my chest.
