I had my card cloned before and around 100 quid taken out in Ecuador, which my bank paid me straight back as soon as they realised it was fraud * +

You can destroy your personal documents and financial papers before you bin them. Set different passwords on your phone, computer and online accounts. Limit the information you share online and refrain from giving out personal information over the phone.
