well aye i suppose but thats a bit too comfy for my liking.. if you can do that though you can do almost anything else. i only know a couple knots a bowline for locking non slip knot. a prusik for joining ropes qnd the rest is munter hitches and friction. look up a guy called Lew Rubens hes one of my favourite riggers * +

There was 10 knots we had to learn at college, can still remember the reef knot, clove hitch, rolling hitch and figure of 8. Pretty sure there was a sheepshank know and bowline in there too, was 11 years ago now and bosuns chairs are no longer used so id probably be abit rusty haha * +

i would have to look at a picture to do half of them
figure of 8 makes a decent stopper for an over door makeshift hard point. ive done that before

thief knot is interesting if you know that one.. i cant do it though *
