Bought a new phone.. signed into Skype.. .. and everything is fu*ked.

Is there a way to get the old version back? I tried rolling it back to no avail. It's unusable! * +

if Skype came pre installed on the phone you could uninstalling system app updates from settings/apps.

if it didn't come pre installed turn your phone off and on again to force any app updates to show in playstore. * +

Ok 3mel... so I do that... then how do I make it stay that way ? Cause I did it already on the day i bought the phone last week and it just updated itself again.

With my laptop on the blink this is really bugging me too. Given that desktop Skype works fine * +

go into the store and tap the 3 lines in the top left, then go to settings and turn off automatic updates.

you'll have to chose what you update from then on for all your apps, but there will be an update all option if you want it (that'll give you the same problem again).

make a note of the version number that's pants so you can decide whether to try versions released after it. * +
