Some of the crap this Fairhead woman has gotten upto in the past is downright scandalous and should really prevent her from ever holding a public office. Tories proving once again 'it's not what you know, it's who you know' with them.dislike.gif * +

Her name was Emily Davison and it was actually King George V's horse in the 1913 Epsom Derby. Footage of the incident was examined in 2013 using the latest modern day techniques as part of a re-investigation for a tv show marking the 100th anniversary of her death. From the footage, police documents and eyewitness statements taken at the time, they concluded that she had never intended to kill herself by throwing herself under the horse but was actually attempting to attach a flag or ribbon bearing the colours of the women's suffrage movement onto the horse's bridle.

Dopey cow. Good reason right there why they shouldn't vote.

Mexican drug money laundering(she was the head of HSBC's audit and risk committee at a time when it laundered money2.gif881million of Mexican drug money), dodgy Iranian transactions, links to a Saudi bank implicated in financing Al-Qaeda ... oh, and there's the little matter of a travellers' cheques scam involving a Japanese bank, that turned out to be a money laundering operation run by Russian oligarchs. Meanwhile, HSBC in the US also offered what are known as ''bearer share accounts''(a type of account notorious for use as a money laundering tool), including such accounts to two Miami businessmen who were subsequently jailed for criminal tax fraud in Florida.

Now Mrs disMay has made her a government minister and given her a life peerage.wtf.gif * +
