Just been down to the local shop, and the traffic wardens are out in force. Ticketing all the cars. Gonna be a lot of peed off ppl getting back to their cars to find a 70 fine slapped on the windscreen. The local council also did the same at christmas. Whats the car parking situation like in your area on a bank holiday ? * +

used to be like that in my road. We used to be the closest road to the tube station without parking controll so the world and his mate used to park in our road and get the tube into town. Its been far better since the CPZ was introduced. At least i can actually park in my street now. althou it now costs 90 a year. * +

we're right next to the beach ...I don't mind people jamming the street up, or parking on the grass , it's only really like that a few times a year ..but when you get home and your driveway is blocked, that really me off * +

I remember getting a ticket once when i was at a gas leak, told the thick traffic warden he can give me a ticket but i will get it cancelled. As soon as i had a chance i called work and they called the council and the ticket was cancelled, i made a point of telling the traffic warden i had already got his ticket cancelled and laughed in his face put him in his place * +

In London a traffic warden is one of the lowest forms of life and you will struggle to find a white British person doing this job, 95 percent of traffic wardens are Nigerians who think they are police. * +

couple of weeks ago the bus station where my bus terminates was closed. So we had to go round the corner and park up on the side of the road. Im sitting there and a traffic warden comes up to me and says ''you cant park here, its a red route'' I know its a red route i said, im in fkn big red bus. I called the controller on the radio and said this guys threatening to give me a ticket, they said just tell him to fk off, and if he does give you a ticket we will get it cancled. The guy just wandered off eventually to find his next victim * +
