I learned a new British slang 'I'm off to Bedfordshire' meaning it's bedtime. I had to look it up. I didn't know it offhand. I projected my location to UK and asked one of the Grindr guys. Now he keeps randomly messaging me them lol

Other words he's messaged me: piff, duff, prang, waffle and scunnered. I have no idea what they mean. I haven't looked them up yet. I'm off to Bedfordshire * +

Prang's a bit of a passe word for face paint. And being dolled-up generally. Waffle is something you do rather a lot of - also known as jibber..

Never known someone off to Bedfordshire. But then, I'm literally a couple of miles from the Beds border. Here, if you're going to bed, you're off to your pit.

For a small island, dialect changes vastly. Accent too - travel just 30 miles and people sound different. * +

I googled those words earlier this eve. According to Urban Dictionary 'prang' is a London slang for scared or something.

Yeah, that's similar. Accent/dialect changes every few kilometres here too. People in Delhi might sound foreign to people in MP, for instance.

In MP, if I hugged you in public, we might get beaten. But in Delhi, we could make out in a club and nobody will care. Just saying lol *
