The old 1 coin ceases to be legal
tender and will go out of circulation at
midnight on Sunday, October 15

If you still have 1 coins lying about
after the deadline, it can
continue to be deposited into a
customer account at most High Street
banks in the UK.

for last date cause I din't know when in October it was. Ow does this effect people who also ave a collection album that not only holds old pound coins, but new 50 pences, and new 2 pound coins as well. * +

your albums i would think arent supposed to be spent they more collectibles ,perhaps like the silver proof 20 ,50 ,100 pound coins they legal tender yet you cannot spend them in shops or deposit in banks just collectors items.
