Hmmm i find they are So much better than used to be (1980's) , must admit lost respect for them at an early age when getting told by a copper i may as well admit to it because it was written all over my face Id done nothing!
Other times getting taken to a police station as a unaccompanied minor and questioned! Furthered my then disrespect for them and nodoubt popularity with them. * +

1 of my exs years ago when i was like 20 n his family all hated the police, coz ther weirdos, sayin that my ex was always in trouble sorta, n the police used always look out for him coz of the family name, roughians..... sumtimes the policemen wud b all tryna av bantz wi him n other times would go iiiin, ill never forget fhe time he stood me up on my bday meal coz hed been arrested or woteva n alls he cared bowt was how long itd take him 2 re lace his trainers * +

I respected the police I dealt with in my youth, who would gladly pin you in a phone box n give you a kicking if you got lippy.. I don't respect the police you have now, who will try and arrest you for swearing in front of them, because it hurts their feelings.. * +
