Employers are entitled to ban workers from wearing headscarves, the European Court of Justice has ruled.
But the ban on the visible wearing of any political, philosophical or religious sign must be based on internal
company rules requiring all employees to dress neutrally, it ruled.
It is the court's first decision on the issue of women wearing Islamic headscarves at work. * +

Which one are they banning? The head (hair) scarf or the full ninja headgear? * +

i really feel that this is ridiculous.. this would also probably mean if the company has these rules, wearing a simple cross necklace also won't be allowed. * +

Companies do have the right to dictate dress code though. It would depend on what company it is and what image they want to project. * +
