The trick with packed lunches is to keep changing them so you don't get into a routine of floppy sliced bread sandwiches everyday and get bored. One good tip is to always make too much of certain things when cooking at home, then box up the extra to use as pack ups. A tupperware box full of whatever you've been cooking and a fork. Currys, rice or noodle stir frys, pasta salads, or hot stews, casseroles and soups in a big thermos flask, all good. *
