The reply of an imbecile from Liam. Don't have a problem with any of the religious books. They are not for me but millions get comfort from them and I respect that. What I do have a problem is with those who use the books as an excuse to carry out atrocities in the name of their religion

Good....they've got to be consistent. Was intent but when you consider worse crimes have been given lesser sentences. Don't know how true it is but heard some countries put pork in trains/bus seats to stop extremist from wearing vests on them

I saw reports in a tabloid newspaper* years ago abut an Isreali plan to conceal packets of lard(pig fat) on public transport to deter palestinian suicide bombers, the theory was that the fat would contaminate the remains of the bomber and therefore deny them their martyr's reward of 72 virgins in heaven.**
* I can't remember which one but it being a tabloid it was probably worth taking with a large pinch of salt.
** Conveniently ignoring the fact that Jewish people generally have choirinophobia(a fear of pork) as well.
