I cannot believe you get adults who cannot even swim. How can you go for over 20 years without even trying?! It goes beyond belief?!

Anyways, who here went to swimming lessons as a kid? Are you any good? What's your favourite stroke?

I saw an adult learning to ride a push bike last week.

My kids go swimming every fortnight and they're very young. It's fun more than anything else atm but I can't wait for the true lessons. * +

My sister and I tought each other to swim when we were 4 and 4 1/2 respectively. We just jumped in and automatically could doggy paddle.
Our mom sent us to swimming lessons a little later than that. I was such a natural.

My secondary school had a pool. I participated in the swimming galas against other schools. It was extremely difficult and stressful though.

We also learnt life saving tips in the water during PE. * +

my daughter is six and she has lessons in blocks of ten ....she's struggling to get past level 2 cause she won't go on her back ....half her problem is that she just doesn't listen * +
