For anyone unaware, CO (carbon monoxide) is completely undetectable by human senses even at levels where it can kill you within twenty minutes. Not only does it kill people in their homes, it's also a problem in petrol vehicles, and fatal collisions involving CO poisoned drivers is still under-diagnosed. * +

we have two gas bottles, one for the heater, one for the small stove when the power is out, but we keep them closed when not in use. and a window or two open when in use.. I am wary of gas as I know how dangerous it can be. * +

I live in a newish house and building regulations say carbon monoxide alarms must be fitted . Your landlord if you pay rent has to supply one also

How olds the rule?? My house is 8yrs old and aint got 1 fitted i had 2 buy 1 separate * +

My friend had co2 poisoning at 11 his dad and brother died , him , his mum n his sister survived but it caused him 2 go colour blind n all other sorta weird things * +
