One peer arrived to parliament in a taxi. As it kept it's engine running the peer ran in, signed for his 300 quid expenses and then ran back to his taxi

Sounds like he made an effort to keep the taxi fare to a minimum. Politicians don't run for anything other than office. This one was clearly keeping down his expenses. Good man, we need more politicians like him.
