Just spent the last few days doing a customer service training course gotta say its a load of b0ll0x. If a passenger wants to abuse me then they get abuse back, its not rocket science you dont want abuse then dont be abusive, simple really. as for the rest of it, i already do it. But the let them vent bit nooooooooooo fkn way so anyone else had to suffer a customer service training course ? * +

never done a course, in my last job one of the things I liked about it was that management didn't care what you did within reason and assuming the customer didn't spend hundreds of thousands with us.
you could tell customers to fu*k off if you wanted. the lack of structure bothered me by the end though, I like doing a good job by customers, but nobody else seemed to gave a shiit. * +

don't need a course to understand people. worked in a couple of pizza shops, didn't need a course. same when working in a wine bar * +

Done a customer service course and a retail course. I was a manager of a shop once, was there a few years. The customer service course I did many years later taught me some things I didn't know and I think pretty much everyone should do it, because there aren't many jobs where some customer service skills aren't needed. Internal customers. * +
