Yeah drunk people CAN be a nightmare but i dont agree with your above depiction of a typical pub 'britain wide' I could name a handful of rough pubs that would somewhat match what you said but i could show you countless more that are actually just normal and civilised, even some that are boring. You just must be going to the wrong places

It's no going to be every time you're out but your propensity to run into bother when you're on the pub scene is highly fu*king magnified.

Yeah i agree, give an idiot alcohol and he'll be times the idiot he was before. Having said that last year i stopped going into town as much and more to festivals and warehouses instead, much better scene, relaxed dress code, people are more friendly, no trouble, no a**hole bouncers etc and better music *
