I was waiting in a cue and a woman dropped all her money which went all over and this 10p rolled along the shop floor and went under a shelf then this scots fella went to lie down and stretched his arm out under the shelf and got the 10p which he gave back to the lady. * +

that sounds a bit like the urban myth of the old lady struggling with counting out her change at the checkout. the story goes, she's counting out to her last pennies to see whether she can afford her shopping while a queue of customers wait behind her.
she fumbles and shower of coins bounce all over the floor. everyone in the queue pitches in to help pick up her money only when it's handed back to her she has several times the amount she started out with. * +
