What about the kids they used to use as runners. To pass back n forward messages to the troop comanders. Incase there enemy,s were listening into their convow,s Because they were quick n nibble n they could faster n hide in small nooks n crannys where the enemy troops could,nt reach or get into. * +

I joined the army at 16 as a junior leader, was 9 months of basic training, adventure training and got paid for it, you can't go on tour until you are 18 though. * +
