Read this the other night and it is scary, they have been evolving here for the last 200 years.. Huge things. Natives don't stand a chance. But then if you had ever seen a Quoll - or been bitten by one of the little b.astards - you might understand why settlers wanted to get rid of them.
They were a pest, vicious little things.. not something you want to find in your pantry. We declared war on them in favour of critters from the Motherland. * +
