It's going to be a much tighter competition this year. England have significant injuries but still have the form and talent pool to win. The Irish had a very good year with wins against all the southern hemisphere teams and the clubs are performing very well in Europe and they're really milling the death of Foley for emotional penny they can get out of it. The final match against England in Dublin on Paddys Day is likely to be the deciding match of the tournament. France and Scotland are greatly improved with successful Autumn campaigns. Wales, who knows. They haven't been playing well but getting wins and Italy can always win matches if they keep their squad fit and injury. Plus also if it isn't decided by a grand slam we have the new scoring system in play where you pick up bonus points for tries scored. Looking forward to it. * +

The other thing we have to take into consideration is that this is a Lions year. Everyone's going to be amped to fu*k and really wanting to throw down markers and prove that they are the ones for that shirt. * +
