Before asking any question, I just quickly wanna tell what happened. So Amazon was selling doormats which had the Indian flag printed on them and it caused an uproar here.

The Indian Constitution states that the flag should never touch the ground or the floor or trail in water intentionally and should never be worn below the waist and should never be used as a bedding, drapery, undergarments and stuff like that cause that's hella gross and disrespectful lol

What are your thoughts? Would you be offended if you saw your country's flag printed on shoes/doormats? Are you patriotic? Why/why not? * +

I think there's nothing wrong with being patriotic. It's kind of a requirement. However, that does not mean that one should be blinded by patriotism. Obviously, blind flag worshipping is stupid. Respecting fellow citizens is more important.

I'm not a blind flag worshipper, but I don't think that the flag should be used for commercial purposes like shoes/doormats or anything like that. It doesn't seem right to me. I feel the flag should be honoured since it's a very powerful symbol representing one's country. It shouldn't be disrespected or used lightly (whether it's India's or any other country's flag)

What are your thoughts? Would you be okay with it or would you find it inappropriate? Btw, I'm not talking about clothing as most people now accept clothing with a flag pattern on it. I'm talking about shoes/doormats and undergarments lol * +

Here we have Australia day,where our flag is printed on all manner of cheap sh*t such as thongs(the type you wear on feet) as well as the other,hats,inflatable pool toys etc.
There's no disrespect involved tho * +
