Hey guys, don't worry. I haven't been abducted by aliens as I think some of you may have feared. Just been busy with the paperwork that's to be submitted in college and stuff.

I had an interview recently, and I was told that I couldnt be hired since my masters is not yet completed but given my suitability and interest shown, I was offered a chance to work as a trainee until my course is completed.

I have another interview coming up, and I'm looking for help with the common interview questions (the ones I always seem to struggle with)

1) Tell me about yourself.
Ugh. I never know what to say lol

2) Tell me about your hobbies.
Ugh. Another, that catches me off guard since I don't have any hobbies.

3) Tell me why you're interested in this job?
Ugh. B*tch, I'm broke. That's why (I can't say that?)

4) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I know my strengths (honest, positive thinker, likes to make people smile/laugh etc) but I'm not the one who likes to blow his own trumpet so I can never answer this question properly. My weaknesses include lazy, argumentative, shouty/abusive when seriously annoyed etc, but I feel saying all this will give them a really bad impression of me lol * +

A good way to put a spin on a 'weakness' : 'sometimes I take on too much at once', so you're taking something that is actually positive (you're hardworking) and making out like it is a weakness. DON'T say that you're lazy and abusive! * +

Find out about the company your going for the job at. Then you can say that I was interested in this company because it produced XYZ and it's turnover last year was blah blah blah. With my skills in the subject of ABC I can increase the company's EFG .... * +

1) ''Your other employees will be doing that''.

2) Anything to do with your health, teamwork, or personal development. From football or the gym, or a weekly club, or blogs/galleries online, or music, anything really. Don't tell them about here, ffs.

3) ''My skill sets would benefit you, and because they would, I'd also benefit personally, professionally, and financially from that. If I can come in here and solve problems and accomplish your goals, it will be a great future for me.''

4) Hold down the vulgar outbursts, remember they don't care to know if you suck dick or not, and you should be fine. You're patient, not proud. You prefer to consider things in hindsight if they trigger emotions. You're professional. * +
