Because it's user responsive ie users or certain groups can highlight what they deem as fake news so Facebook will remove it. So the new small and independent (not the actual paper) news sites could be took down on a wim just because they don't like it or don't go with a certain persons own views...and yeah it does happen because Facebook have admitted it's trending section was in favour of liberal and left leaning news * +

In a way, it will probably backfire because there is already a left wing echo chamber on social media... This will just keep them more in the dark.. And they will get even more salty when they lose * +
