I hate paying 50 quid for a parking ticket so I'm not going to wish it on somebody else at a higher rate, regardless if it takes a hour/day/week to earn, I think the current system is working because generally people don't park on double yellows just because they can, I don't know if you have red routes where you will get towed away millionaire or not

But again, 50 quid is very different to different people. Some earn it in an hour, others take all week before it's spare.

Red routes are dangerous to stop on, we don't have them here but we have clearways, which are the same thing. Generally though, if you break down on one, you'll be helped on to the grass.

Towing is another subject though - what if i'm heavily pregnant and you've just towed my car? What if it's a light van with my work tools in it, i can't earn without it? Towing is theft, and there's scope for making it a crime imo. I can't just phone a chauffeur after all, but the millionaire can... *
