Do you wear shoes inside your home? Do you allow your guests to? These are the big questions, people. * +

I take my shoes off when I come in. I have no problem with guests keeping their shoes on. * +

What guests? Despise the damn things.
It's mainly a shoe free environment. * +

I barely wear shoes outside the house in summer if I don't have to lol. And never when I'm driving.
I'm laying new flooring and am half tempted to ask guests when entering to remove their shoes. People do that, right? * +

Do it. Your house, your rules. * +

yes they do, tradesmen usually carry those slip on shoe covers over here so it's something they must get asked a lot. * +

I did wonder whether it was rude but then I realised I don't really care about that. I do wonder if some people would be uncomfortable about taking their shoes off though I guess. * +

Shoe covers is a great idea. I might have to find some as a halfway solution. I have a surprising amount of traffic through here when I think about it, tradesmen, tutors, carers and the like. Great suggestion. * +
