Tbh Stephen does warn about trite Sci-Fi tier ramifications of scientific endeavours, like the dangers of establishing commnication with potentially hostile alien life to dangerous AI. The idea of offworld colonies in even the next 300 years is optimistic, barring the discovery of a profound mode of travel. * +
