An evil act on the part of the allies, the less you obfuscate your mind with the years of patriotic films and whitewashing mantras, the more you realise there wasn't any real good side in WWII.

it was carried out as retribution for the bombing of both coventry and plymouth. Civilian targets were bombed indiscriminatly 25,000 civilians died and the city of dresden was wiped off the map. It was mass murder by the allies * +

They sent V bombs to us and bombed our cities, we burnt Dresden to the ground, it's war, Hitler would've done the same to us. Hats off to bomber command, brave guys to be up there exposed to shelling and fighter planes. * +
