No really.(yes) It was invented in the seventies but an American company has brought it into the spotlight after they had labels for their new product approved by US regulators, who have now withdrawn the approval saying they had made a mistake.
The company, who still plan to sell their product when new labels are approved, has courted controversy by mentioning on a website how the product could be snorted or added to food and would be perfect for smuggling alcohol into venues where alcohol is not allowed.

Similar products are apparently already on sale in Germany and the Netherlands but these are much less alcoholic than the American product. * +

There was a time I drank to get wasted. Now I drink because I enjoy what i'm drinking.

I think this product id for the former, and is therefore nothing other than a legal narcotic drug, used purely for the sake of it's effect on the body.

Sadly, I think it will also have an affect on statistics. * +
