Re-sprayed paint will quickly age out of shade,and so a car that was resprayed three years ago will usually be mis-matched. * +

@agree wid mikey but even wid feathering u wil notice th shades in direct sunlight n from certain angles. Best is spray th whole side of car dat needs touch up but dat is if u really want it looking spot on but most times ppl dont notice th slight difference if th guy mixing is good. Metallic is also extremely difficult 2 get spot on. * +

An mike that is known as color blending an you can do color change paints ! An match them there actuly fairly easy to do if ud like the prep an precedure to do so let me know Now 3 to 5 stage translucent paint is not recomend or but thats paint jobs most people cant aford ! An any true painter zaps there paint to match ! * +

3 year you must be using some cr*p paint ! I haue a 86 ranger that is brite red that i blended the door over 8 years ago an you still cant see it ! If done rite you will never see it ! As indian lary use to say ! When in dought repaint the whole dam thang ! *
