Partially. Some people trust their partners fully, but it's something about themselves that they feel inadequate about. They may know their parents won't cheat on them, but certain hormonal imbalances or due to the structure of their brain cause them to think and behave illogically. These issues have nothing to do with the other partner, and is not even a matter of trust. *
