Motorola Q gets a costume change

image

Available now on Verizon Wireless, the slim smartphone sports a new black shell but keeps the same basic features, including a 1.3-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 5.0 and a full QWERTY keypad.

One of the first in the new trend of slim and trim smartphones, the Motorola Q updates its look and dons a new black suit. Other than its new appearance, the specs for the super-thin (0.4 inches) handset remain the same, including a 1.3-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 5.0, miniSD memory expansion, a speakerphone, stereo Bluetooth, a media player and e-mail. Even though the only change to the Q was its outfit, it will cost you USD50 more from Verizon after a two-year service contract and mail-in rebates.
