u know they say oscar size in tank is up to 12inches but in the wild they can reach up to 16inches. how tall do they get? i would of thought 6inches high yea and 12inches long in aquariums. *

On dis August my oscar completed 1year. He's still 7inc long. bartz,I dn't think 6inch tall in 1year is possible. I think Size deppends on food and Tank size. *

experts say oscar grow an inch per month, so 12months is 12inches and even when adult they could go to 13/14 inches lol massive fish. oddly enough my silver sharks and clown loaches and south american pleco will reach 12inches at adult age. they could be ok with an oscar im hoping then it could work in my tank. *
