why do we have so many bible versions? *

because not many ppl understand the king james version 400 yr old, old english that no1 speaks today. and while many scholars tried to translate the bible they put their own ideas and traditions into the translations.
for example removing Gods name Jehovah and putting Lord in its place. *

well,people like Hort and Westcott(you could google them if you like) as well led to the fast distributing of of many bible versions.
It matters with the bible version you use.'The beast shall seek to change times and laws.'Rd Isiah 8:20.them Rev 22:18,19 and 1 Jn 5:7.there are verses that have been changed or removed(from the middle of acts to revelation.)use KJV or NKJV because it is a direct interpretation from the original language to English.compare its verses of the following to any other modern bible:
Mt 18:11,Revelation 22:14(what has washing a robe got to do with keeping His commandments.)Dan 3:25(u cant compare God to gods or angels.)the focus is to take your understanding of God and to make you think He does not exist. *

it has YAHWEH, FATHER,.... and the one you want JEHOVAH-though not as often as in NWT.so many Names have been used for God. *
