Cricket world cup 2011- group b match-eng v/s south africa- england batted 1st n scored 171 losing all their wickets. Bopara top scored with 60. In reply south africa was bowled out for 163 thanks to tight bowling effort by english bowlers. This takes england to the top of the group with 5 points. *

Group B match-India v/s Ireland in M.Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore-Ireland scored 207 and lost all their wickets. William Porterfield,the Irish captain along with Niall o Brien knit a 100 plus partnership for the 3rd wicket. William scored an half century for the Irish. Yuvraj took 5 wickets,Zaheer picked 3. In reply,India lost 2 early wickets in V.Sehwag and G.Gambhir. But then it was a easy chase for them. S.Tendulkar scored 38,whereas Yuvraj scored a half century,Yusuf came in and hit 20 odd runs in no time to take India to victory and to the top of the groug B table. *

Group A match-Canada v/s Kenya in Ferozeshah Kotla,New Delhi- Canada won their 1st match in this world cup- Canada won their match beating Kenya. Kenya won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 198 losing all their wickets in 50 overs. Thomas Odoyo top scored for Kenya with 51. Osinde picked 4 Kenyan wickets. In reply Canada chased down the target in relative ease losing 5wickets in 45.3overs with Bagai scoring 64 and Hansra getting 70. They also got into a 100 runs partnership. This win takes Canada to 6th place in points table. *
