What are the names glands which are find in a mouth nd wht r the function these glands? *

In the mouth i only knw of salivary glands found beneath the tongue. Are calld Sublingual glands. There exists other salivary glands, those found in the jaws are calld submandibular glands while the Parotid glands are embedded in the cheeks. Could u tell me any functions saliva performs in the body? *
