This is the washing of face,arms,feet etc before prayer in Islam. In the Bible : Moses put the wash-basin between the tent of meeting and the alter and filled it with water. Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the alter as the lord commanded Moses.Jesus himself was washing the hands and feet of his disciples but Simon Peter refused to be so washed. After Jesus had told him the importance of the washing, Simon agreed and asked Jesus to was not only his hands and feet but also all over his body including his head.The parts of the body mentioned above constitute the compulsory aspects of ablution as stated in the Quran 5:6. *
